Discover Division 6

Back in early 2020 an old friend reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in contributing some artwork to their newest book project.
I was intrigued, as this particular venture was different to the fiction and non-fiction they’d written before. Development had already been underway for over a year and I was trusted with a copy of the first draft to acquaint myself with the work and the themes required for any future artwork.
This is when I was introduced by Luthaneal Adams to his new world: Division 6.

What is Division 6?
It’s a new tabletop roleplay game where your party members take on the roles of powerful sorcerers and Psions, who work within the Division 6 unit as law enforcement agents.
You’ll find yourself in a futuristic world shaped by advanced science, psychic power and magic. The game is set within a bright, utopian, sci-fi city where life is generally pretty sweet for its inhabitants.
Players are tasked with keeping city life good for the people living there, by dealing with paranormal and supernatural threats.
I contributed three of my original artworks, two of which were painted especially for the project.
You can find The Pea Queen within The Old Craft Spell Book, in the Magic section of the Core Rulebook.
Our watchful Brandon Crow can be seen in that same section and alongside Ben Bear in the NPC animal templates.
You can watch the final stages of the painting of Ben Bear here on YouTube.
Kickstarter Campaign
By the time Division 6 launched on Kickstarter in August 2024, it had been in development for five years, with many playtests informing the iterations produced, before the final book was ready for publication.
The Kickstarter campaign was a roaring success, and the project was fully funded within four days of opening. By the close of the one month fundraising window, backers had pledged 225% of the total funds required for production to go ahead.
Core Rule Book
The Division 6 core rulebook is a full colour, 430-page hardback delight of story telling and artwork. There are 16 chapters which cover the world of Division 6 (and its wider universe), the Magical Guilds and Psion classes. You’ll find sections on futuristic technology, Psion powers and Sorcerer magic as well as details on the rules of the game, how to run a game, NPCs and character creation.

Adventure Books/Case files
There are also two adventure books (referred to as Case Files in the Division 6 world) available, each with a ready-to-run story for you to enjoy. These case files are soft cover, 50 pages long and packed full of adventure and stunning artwork.
Cat’s Eye Blind is a story intended for new characters and requires a minimum of two players (plus the GM). Players are tasked with uncovering the mysteries behind a new magical drug that is flooding the streets and causing a number of strange deaths.
Railroad again requires a minimum of two players (plus the GM) but is intended for characters with more experience and a higher power level. Players will be racing against the clock to find a lost girl who is being hunted through the city.

Additional Case Files are already in the works!
Both the core rulebook and case files are also available in PDF format.
Are you intrigued?
Over on the Division 6 website they offer a quick-start guide for the game, providing you with a sample of the setting, a stripped-down version of the rules, and a free adventure that you can play to get a taste of the game.
This is completely free to download.
Open Licence
The Division 6 crew have recently added an Open License to the world, allowing other members of the community to release their own content for the Division 6 universe.
The original makers make no claims to any money made from unofficial Division 6 content; they just ask that third-parties link back to the official Division 6 website in any releases made.
If this is of interest, you can read more about the Open Licence here on the Division 6 website.

I have a full Special Agent Pack from the Kickstarter campaign and can’t wait to explore the world more!
